Catherine is a graduate of the University of Sheffield, and has specialised in research projects examining the privatisation of agricultural land in Ukraine, farming cooperatives in Cuba, Venezuela, and the United States, and the exploitation of migrant workers in the UK’s supermarket supply chain. She is strongly committed to the development of an alternative to the neoliberal agricultural system based on food sovereignty.
